Due to a twist in my mind I had started studying Mandarin, a first time 8 years ago. And, once we were well installed in Portland, OR, USA last year , I gave it a second go.

Another twist in my mind and at the beginning of April I landed in Beijing for a 6 weeks Mandarin course further intensified by the bright idea to stay in a local family.
